Standard of Passing


Standard of Passing:

a)Theory :

  • i) At least 50% marks in the internal assessment of each theory paper.

  • ii) At least 50% marks in the external assessment of each theory paper.

  • iii) At least 50% marks in the aggregate of internal and external assessment of each theory paper.



    • b) Practical :

  • i) At least 50% marks in the internal assessment of each practical

  • ii) At least 50% marks in the external assessment of each practical

  • iii) At least 50% marks in the aggregate of internal and external assessment of each practical



    • c) Obtaining a Class :

  • First Class with Distinction - 75% and more

  • First Class - 60% to 75%

  • Second Class - 50% to 60%



    • d) Attendance :

  • A minimum 85% attendance of lectures in each subject and clinical attendance including urban and rural community health experience is mandatory.
